New Year Parties 2014
Have you decided how to celebrate your New Year's Eve yet? New Year Parties could get really expensive, but you don't have to break your bank. There are some parties with reasonable price and free one as well. I came across this website listed out top 10 Vancouver New Year Parties. I would like to share with you.
Ring in the New Year with breathtaking views at this waterfront gala, which includes two rooms of dancing, a midnight balloon drop, photobooth, and more. Dress "chic and sassy" (jackets for the men). Tickets: $65
Want to really dress up for New Year's Eve in Vancouver? Vancouver's famous Shangri-La Hotel hosts a formal (black tie dress / formal attire only!) Gala, with two rooms, appetizers, and top DJs. Tickets: $90
Vancouver's largest gay New Year's Eve party is at the famous Celebrities, and they plan to launch the New Year with lots of glitter and rhinestones! Music by DJs Timeline, Yurie, & JP Valdes, free champagne toast at midnight, and dancing until 4am. Tickets: $30
If you want to ring in New Year's Eve in Vancouver with pretty young things, this Granville Strip hotspot is a good bet. Festivities include two theme rooms ("fire" and "ice", naturally), and a midnight champagne toast and balloon drop. Tickets: $30
Don't want to stay in one spot all night? This NYE club crawl is aimed at students and starts at the famous Roxy Nightclub, one of Vancouver's hottest nightclubs. Tickets include front-of-the-line admission to three more clubs, plus party favours and transportation between events (so no waiting in the cold!) Tickets: $30
While the rest of this list is dedicated to Vancouver's decadent/glamourous/crazy New Year's Eve parties, there is one celebration in Vancouver that's free and fun for all ages (and doesn't involve alcohol): New Year's Eve at Robson Square. The free fun includes ice skating, live music, roving performers, and an early countdown for kids.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! Have a fun and safe New Year's Eve!
